How to start a speech/ anchoring /presentation
Whenever,we are asked to perform in a public forum or speak in front of some people,we are always confused that how to become the ice breaker.we are always confused about how to start our speech/ anchoring/debate or presentation.
we always heard about that "first impression is the last impression".So, the way you start your presentation/ speech / anchoring must be very attractive and must put a long lasting effect on the mind of audience.Your begning will make you accept with a more positive response than other participants. starting will definitely set a criteria for your winning.
If you start in a impressive way then they will listen to you sincerely till the last. A boring beginning distract the audience and they get to bore from your presentation.

1.Quotation
Quotation is always a traditionally accepted strong way to introduce your content in front of public.A meaningful and a positive Quote adds confidence to your words.Choose a uncommon and a strong quote from your collection.
example-"the struggle you are in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow".
2. Poetry
The four lines of any poetry will be helpful in proving your point and making your Idea clear to the audience.You can choose the poetry from a famous poet as well as you can add your own poem by mentioning it as your own.This will definitely impress your audience in a positive way.
3.State the saying of important person
If you begin your content with the saying of some important person then it will increase the weightage of your words in front of audience.
Example- "the best way to predict your future is to create it"-Abraham Lincoln.
4.Joke
If you are speaking in some informal or semi formal occasion then you can start your Anchoring /speech by some ridiculous or funny incident to make the mood even lighter and make audience ready to accept your Vibes.
5.Ask a relevant question
if you start your content by asking a relevant simple question related the topic or the event.You have to ask this question from the audience itself and heartly welcome the answer from their side. This will connect you to the audience directly and they will feel that they too are the part of your speech.

An experienced candidate is always welcome full heartily.so if you start your performance by explaining your some of the experience related the topic or if you have some strong experience while preparing for the speech/ anchoring or presentation.Then audience will love to listen it and they will engage themselves with you.
8.Opinion of famous people
if you begin your speech with the opinion of some famous personality in that topic then it will make your content more powerful and unique from others.
9.Imagination
In the beginning, if you ask your audience to imagine something by closing their eyes,related to your topic, then this will have a mind-blowing impact on audience and you will definitely become star of the event.
10.Silence
when you are asked to speak up, you just stand in front of them confidently by making good eye contact silently. then this will attract the the audience towards you, that you are going to show up something very unique.
11.What if phrase
What if phrase is a mind diverting technique which usually public speakers try.If you ask your audience to imagine that "what if happen if this will happen" then this will increase your impressions on the stage.
