Myth 1

Good Speakers are born with natural skills

The most common and generally believed myth about public speaking is that 'all the good speakers are born with the natural skills of speaking, or they are born orators"

But, this is in no case true.

We can take the example of great speakers, such as, Martin Luther king, whose famous speech "I have a dream" in 1863 is still remarkable.we can also take example of India's most popular public speakers Deepak chopra. They, themselves claimed that they are not born with the natural talent of speaking but they grow them as a powerful speaker, just because of their consistent practice and efforts to become a good speaker.

All though, we cannot completely deny the fact that natural talent play some role. Yes,natural talent play a big role in  helping someone to become a great speaker. But, perfection is thing of your practice, efforts and preparation.

Good speakers are no different from a beginner or from a person who never spoken publicly.Only difference between both of them are there acquired abilities. These acquired abilities include skill training, equipment with basic tools & knowledge and basic practice.Good speakers follow certain tips & tricks which make them comfortable while they are on the stage.

Good speakers, generally has wide amount of knowledge about anything, so that they can speak anything, anytime in front of public without hesitation.Due to lack of sufficient knowledge, sometimes you feel nervous and cannot speak in front of public properly.

We recommend that in up-bringing of a child, he must learn public dealing like learning other languages & basic subjects. This will help him when he grow older. He will never feel nervous whenever he had to go in stage. Basic training of your child must include the public dealing practices in which public speaking is a big part.

Concludingly, while debunking our first myth of   public speaking,we can proudly announce that Good Speakers are not born, they are made with constant practice and efforts.
